I'm Raffa and I love making games!

Early history

My first job in the game development world was in 2005 when I worked at Massive Development, porting Aquanox 2 to the Playstation 2 as a Graphics Artist. After that I switched to Art Director developing browser games - before mobile phones were really capable.

After that

Doing that for a couple of years, I realized I wanted to increase my traditional art skills and was miniature artist ( yes, painting warhammer minis, winning Golden Demons, Slayers Swords and stuff like that ), running my own business for around six years. It was a great time with a lot of fantastic people. But digital art and games we're always a part of my life. In that time I ran two very successful Crowdfunding campaigns - and created on VR demo on the Oculus Rift DK2 that even won a Epic DevGrant, yay!

Real Life

With the birth of my kid I decided it's time to grow up. I worked for two years in the digital signage world as a Creative Director - But I quickly found out that I find it particular hard to grow up and fit into the retail business world working with IKEA, ALDI, etc.

Back to the roots

Now I came back to where my heart lives - games! I started working at a CRATR.games working on Heart of Muriet while spending my hobby time on Gamejams. Now two games are in the pipeline - Bottomless and FRANZ FURY. The latter is about to be released.
